Wood Lag Screws – Hex Head

Hayn Wood Lag Screws (Hex Head) are stainless steel hex head lag screws for Deck Toggle Jaw System installations on wood structures, available in three thread sizes from 1/4" through 3/8" and two lengths per size to accommodate varying post thicknesses and deck material depths.

The hex head profile allows installation with a standard wrench or socket driver, making these the practical fastener choice for deck toggle jaw mounting where a screw driver-compatible fastener would be undersized for the load. Short versions (1-1/2" length) suit thinner post material and surface-mount applications; long versions (2-1/2" length) provide additional thread engagement for thicker posts or installations where greater pullout resistance is required. Three thread sizes — 1/4", 5/16", and 3/8" — correspond directly to the Hayn Deck Toggle Jaw System screw size range, making it straightforward to specify the correct lag screw alongside the toggle jaw hardware.
