Hayn has been engineering and manufacturing marine, architectural, and industrial rigging hardware since the 1950s. From there, work moves to a manufacturing floor built for precision: CNC vertical milling and lathes, a large-capacity mill-turn center, waterjet cutting, and 3D solid-modeling CAD — automation and craftsmanship working together to deliver the most consistent, highest-quality rigging products on the market while keeping our pricing competitive.

1950 - Hayn Yacht Hardware
From a humble chicken coop 70 years ago, Carl Hayn Sr. followed his passion and founded Hayn Yacht Hardware to manufacture sailboat rigging hardware. -
1979 - Architectural Hardware
Carl Hayn Jr. joined the family business and helped expand the company into the architectural hardware market. -
1980s - Continued Growth
Carl Sr. and Carl Jr. continued expanding the product lines throughout the 1980s. -
1999 - Move to Rocky Hill
The business moved from Middletown, CT to its current home in Rocky Hill, expanding manufacturing space to meet growing demand. -
2017 - NAVTEC Manufacturing Rights
Hayn acquired the rights to manufacture the NAVTEC line of rod rigging equipment, further expanding its capabilities in the marine market. -
