From a humble chicken coop 70 years ago, Carl Hayn Sr. followed his passion and founded Hayn Yacht Hardware to manufacture sailboat rigging hardware.

Carl Hayn Jr. joins the family business and helps expand into the architectural hardware vertical.

Carl Sr. and Carl Jr. continue to expand the product lines throughout the 1980’s pictured here in Miami in 1988.

The business moves from Middletown, CT to its current location in Rocky Hill, taking advantage of the opportunity to expand manufacturing space to meet demand.

Current company President, Brett Hasbrouck, joins the company as general manager, ushering in a new era of engineering and manufacturing techniques.

Hayn acquires the rights to manufacture the NAVTEC line of rod rigging equipment, further increasing its capabilities in serving the marine market. 

Today, we are an industry leader in both the marine and architectural stainless steel hardware markets. We strive to continuously engineer innovative solutions that meet the functional demands and the aesthetic tastes of those that enjoy our hardware each day, whether they are out at sea or out on their back porch.
