Washer – Lock
Hayn Lock Washers are 18-8 stainless steel split ring washers for Traditional Cable Rail termination hardware, available in four nominal sizes from 1/4" through 1/2" to resist nut loosening under the vibration and thermal cycling that cable rail installations experience over time.
Washer - Lock
The split ring profile bites into both the nut and the bearing surface as the fastener is tightened, creating mechanical resistance to rotation that prevents the nut from backing off as the structure expands and contracts seasonally. Available in nominal sizes of 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", and 1/2" to match the thread sizes used across the Hayn Traditional cable rail termination stud and hex nut range. For thread-engagement locking rather than bearing surface locking, see the Hayn Hex Lock Nuts with Nylon Insert.
