Washer – Fender
Hayn Fender Washers are 18-8 stainless steel large-diameter washers for Traditional Cable Rail termination hardware, available in four nominal sizes from 1/4" through 1/2" to distribute bearing load across a broader post face surface at the termination point.
Washer - Fender
The fender washer's oversized outside diameter relative to its hole size spreads the clamping force of the nut or fitting across a wider area of the post face, preventing the hardware from pulling into or marking the post material under cable tension — particularly useful on wood post installations where point loading at a standard washer footprint can damage the surface over time. Available in nominal sizes of 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", and 1/2" to match the thread sizes used across the Hayn Traditional cable rail termination stud and hex nut range. Manufactured from 18-8 stainless steel for corrosion resistance in exterior architectural applications.
