Bevel Washers
Hayn Bevel Washers are Type 316 stainless steel angle compensation washers for Concealed Thread Cable Rail systems, available in 31° and 37° bevel angles to accommodate stair rail cable runs without requiring post modification or custom termination fittings.
Bevel Washers
When a cable rail run follows a stair angle, the end fitting face meets the post at an oblique angle rather than perpendicular — without compensation, this creates an uneven bearing surface that puts lateral stress on the fitting and leaves visible gaps at the post face. The bevel washer sits between the fitting and the post to fill that angle, keeping the fitting properly seated and the installation visually clean. Ten configurations cover nominal ID sizes from 1/4" through 7/16" and outside diameters of 1/2" or 5/8" across both 31° and 37° bevel angles, with the 31° and 37° options sized to be compliant with most conventional stair systems.
