Toggle Jaw to Toggle Jaw – Closed Body

The Hayn Toggle Jaw to Toggle Jaw Closed Body turnbuckle puts articulating toggle jaws at both ends of a Type 316 stainless steel tubular body, providing full angular freedom at every connection point while the closed body protects the threaded tensioning mechanism from the marine environment.

Strong Where It Matters

Toggle Jaw To Toggle Jaw – Closed Body

The chromed bronze open body resists corrosion while letting riggers confirm thread engagement at both ends without removing the fitting, which matters on a standing rigging turnbuckle that carries continuous load but may see infrequent hands-on inspection. The toggle jaw articulates freely to prevent side-loading at the wire end as the rig moves under load, and the integrated swage terminal eliminates a separate wire end fitting from the assembly. Available for imperial wire from 3/32" through 1/2" and metric wire from 3mm through 12mm across 15 imperial and 13 metric configurations, with pin diameters from 1/4" through 3/4" and open lengths from 9-3/4" through 21-5/8" depending on configuration.

Engineered In America Every Hayn fitting is designed and manufactured at our facility in Rocky Hill, Connecticut — the same American workmanship that has set the standard for stainless steel rigging hardware since 1950.
Cold-Worked Production Hayn fittings are cold-worked, not cast. That distinction matters: the cold-working process refines grain structure, increases fatigue resistance, and produces a fundamentally stronger component — one built to perform when the load comes on it.
Precision Manufacturing Our Rocky Hill production floor runs CNC vertical mills, CNC lathes, large-capacity mill-turn centers, and waterjet cutting systems — all configured to produce hardware that meets exact specifications, every time.
75+ Years of Excellence Hayn has been engineering and manufacturing marine and architectural rigging hardware since 1950. That track record isn't just history, it's the design knowledge, failure data, and continuous improvement that goes into every product we make.
