Swage Shroud Terminals
Hayn Swage Stemball Terminals are Type 316 stainless steel ball-head wire terminals that seat into a compatible cup fitting to allow angular articulation at the wire end, reducing the bending stress concentration that drives fatigue failure at fixed terminal interfaces.
Swage Shroud Terminals
The stemball's spherical head distributes load across the cup seat rather than locking the wire end into a fixed geometry, which is the key fatigue-life advantage over a standard eye or fork terminal in applications where the lead angle shifts under load. The range is one of the most extensive available, covering imperial wire sizes from 1/8" through 9/16" and metric sizes from 3mm through 14mm, with multiple head diameter variants on many wire sizes to match the specific cup geometry of the receiving fitting. Compact Strand and Dyform (-CS) versions are stocked across the metric range, and custom configurations are available on request for stemball geometries not covered by the standard lineup.
