Strap Style Eye Jaw Toggles – Standard Clevis Style Pin

The Hayn Strap Style Eye Jaw Toggle with Standard Clevis Style Pin is a Type 316 stainless steel low-profile articulating fitting that combines a fixed eye on one end with a clevis jaw on the other, with a standard clevis pin included for use with a cotter pin or circular ring pin for positive retention.

Strong Where It Matters

Strap Style Eye Jaw Toggles – Standard Head Clevis Style Pin

The standard clevis pin configuration is the conventional choice where a cotter pin or circular ring pin is already part of the rigging system hardware count, and offers the same slim strap body profile and hardware factor geometry as the double head clevis pin version for direct interchangeability. The strap body delivers a lower profile than a forged toggle of equivalent pin size, making it a practical choice where fitting clearance at the chainplate or turnbuckle end is limited. Hardware factor dimensions are published for all seven configurations, with pin diameters from 3/8" through 1" covering the range of wire rigging and rod rigging applications common in mid-size production and performance sailboats.

Engineered In America Every Hayn fitting is designed and manufactured at our facility in Rocky Hill, Connecticut — the same American workmanship that has set the standard for stainless steel rigging hardware since 1950.
Cold-Worked Production Hayn fittings are cold-worked, not cast. That distinction matters: the cold-working process refines grain structure, increases fatigue resistance, and produces a fundamentally stronger component — one built to perform when the load comes on it.
Precision Manufacturing Our Rocky Hill production floor runs CNC vertical mills, CNC lathes, large-capacity mill-turn centers, and waterjet cutting systems — all configured to produce hardware that meets exact specifications, every time.
75+ Years of Excellence Hayn has been engineering and manufacturing marine and architectural rigging hardware since 1950. That track record isn't just history, it's the design knowledge, failure data, and continuous improvement that goes into every product we make.
