The NAVTEC Rod Spreader Bend is a Type 316 stainless steel fitting that covers and protects rod rigging as it passes over the spreader tip, available in 12 configurations covering the full NAVTEC rod size range from -04 through -60.
NAVTEC Rod Spreader Bend
The stainless steel construction of this spreader bend makes it the more durable counterpart to the L200 aluminum version, better suited for applications where a harder bearing surface is preferred or where the spreader tip geometry requires the added strength of stainless at the contact point. Like the L200, it serves as both a chafe protector and a smooth bearing surface that allows the rod to deflect through its working angle without stress concentration at the spreader tip. Available in one configuration per rod size from -04 through -60, with body diameters from 0.300" through 0.875" and grip lengths from 1-1/8" through 3-9/16" scaling across the full rod size range.
