NAVTEC BY HAYN

The NAVTEC Rod Cap is a Type 316 stainless steel threaded cap that covers and protects exposed rod turnbuckle stud threads, available across 13 configurations covering the full NAVTEC rod size range from -04 through -60.

NAVTEC Rod Cap

Exposed threads on a rod turnbuckle stud are vulnerable to corrosion, mechanical damage, and contamination from marine growth — any of which can make future disassembly difficult or compromise thread integrity over time. The rod cap threads directly onto the stud end to seal and protect the exposed thread length when the rig is in service, and is sized to match both the rod size and thread specification of the corresponding N090 turnbuckle stud. Available in 13 configurations with thread sizes from 3/8-24 through 1-1/4-12 and lengths from 1-3/8" through 4-1/2" across the full rod size range.
