Hayn Rigging Pins

Hayn Rigging Pins are Type 316 stainless steel clevis pins available in one of the most comprehensive size matrices in the catalog, covering pin diameters from 1/4" through 3/4" across grip lengths from 3/4" through 6-1/2" to fit the full range of Hayn toggle, adjuster, and rigging hardware.

Strong Where It Matters

Hayn Rigging Pins

With over 70 standard configurations spanning seven pin diameters and up to twelve grip lengths per diameter, Hayn Rigging Pins are stocked to match virtually every clevis connection in a standing rigging or lifeline system without requiring a custom order. Selecting the correct grip length is as important as selecting the correct pin diameter — an undersized grip won't retain a cotter pin properly, and an oversized grip creates unnecessary hardware stack at the connection point. All pins are manufactured from Type 316 stainless steel and are cross-referenced to Hayn toggle and fitting hardware throughout the catalog for straightforward specification.

Engineered In America Every Hayn fitting is designed and manufactured at our facility in Rocky Hill, Connecticut — the same American workmanship that has set the standard for stainless steel rigging hardware since 1950.
Cold-Worked Production Hayn fittings are cold-worked, not cast. That distinction matters: the cold-working process refines grain structure, increases fatigue resistance, and produces a fundamentally stronger component — one built to perform when the load comes on it.
Precision Manufacturing Our Rocky Hill production floor runs CNC vertical mills, CNC lathes, large-capacity mill-turn centers, and waterjet cutting systems — all configured to produce hardware that meets exact specifications, every time.
75+ Years of Excellence Hayn has been engineering and manufacturing marine and architectural rigging hardware since 1950. That track record isn't just history, it's the design knowledge, failure data, and continuous improvement that goes into every product we make.
