NAVTEC BY HAYN

The NAVTEC Removable Rod Eye is a Type 316 stainless steel threaded eye fitting that connects rod rigging to chainplate and toggle hardware without permanently heading the rod, allowing the eye to be removed and reused when the rod is replaced or the assembly is reconfigured.

NAVTEC Removable Rod Eye

The removable design is the key distinction from a headed rod eye — where a standard rod eye is headed onto the rod and becomes a permanent part of the assembly, the removable version threads onto the rod nose so it can be taken off, inspected, and transferred to a new rod without replacing the fitting. This makes it a practical choice for racing programs and refit work where rod replacement is routine but the end hardware remains serviceable. Available in nine configurations with thread sizes from 3/8-24 through 1-1/4-12, covering the full NAVTEC rod size range from -04 through -60, with larger sizes available on request.
