Long Twist Shackles
Hayn Long Twist Shackles are Type 316 stainless steel shackles with a twisted body that offsets the pin axis from the load axis, allowing connection to fittings where a standard straight shackle would create misalignment, available in standard screw pin, socket head pin, and shake proof retained pin configurations.
Long Twist Shackles
The twisted body geometry is the defining feature here, rotating the pin axis relative to the load-bearing bow so the shackle can connect hardware that sits at an angle to the load direction without introducing side-loading into the assembly. Available in five pin sizes from 5/32" through 3/8", with minimum breaking loads from 1,320 lbs through 8,360 lbs, matching the same size and strength range as the Long D shackle lineup. The shake proof retained pin configuration adds positive locking for high-vibration or offshore applications where an unsecured pin is not an option.
