Long "D" Shackles
Hayn Long "D" Shackles are Type 316 stainless steel shackles with an extended inside length that provides greater jaw clearance than a standard D shackle, available in standard screw pin, socket head pin, and shake proof retained pin configurations.
Long "D" Shackles
The longer inside length makes these the right choice where a standard D shackle is too short to accommodate the fitting or hardware being connected, while still keeping the compact, low-profile geometry of the D shackle form factor. The shake proof retained pin configuration adds positive locking for high-vibration or offshore applications where an unsecured pin is not an option. Available in five pin sizes from 5/32" through 3/8", with minimum breaking loads from 1,320 lbs through 8,360 lbs, in standard screw pin, socket head, and shake proof retained pin configurations.
