NAVTEC BY HAYN

The NAVTEC K550 Micro Stemball Tang is a mast-mounted fitting designed to receive the F235 Micro Stemball at the upper rod terminal interface, available in two configurations to suit stainless steel or alloy mast construction across NAVTEC rod sizes from -06 through -60.

The Suffix 01 assembly includes a cap, cup washer, and stainless steel backing plate for standard mast applications, while the Suffix 02 assembly substitutes a clamp bushing and alloy backing plate for installations where an alloy mast wall requires a different mounting approach — with Suffix 02 backing plates supplied un-hardcoated and without mounting holes for custom fitting on site. Mast hole sizes run from 1.250" through 3.125" depending on rod size, with tang lengths from 2.81" through 7.50" and widths from 1.38" through 4.00" across the 11 standard rod size configurations. The K550 can also be ordered as part of the pre-matched K550/C651 Turnbuckle Combination for installations that integrate the tang directly with the tip turnbuckle assembly.

Engineered In America Every Hayn fitting is designed and manufactured at our facility in Rocky Hill, Connecticut — the same American workmanship that has set the standard for stainless steel rigging hardware since 1950.
Cold-Worked Production Hayn fittings are cold-worked, not cast. That distinction matters: the cold-working process refines grain structure, increases fatigue resistance, and produces a fundamentally stronger component — one built to perform when the load comes on it.
NAVTEC ENGINEERING STANDARDS NAVTEC components are engineered to perform under the exact conditions that demand the most from your rigging — offshore passages, high-load racing applications, and everything in between. Every fitting is precision-machined to tight tolerances, built from high-grade stainless steel, and designed to integrate seamlessly into rod rigging systems where failure is not an option.
YOUR EXCLUSIVE SOURCE FOR NAVTEC Hayn is the sole authorized manufacturer and supplier of NAVTEC rigging components. That means every part you order is made to the original specifications, backed by Hayn's manufacturing expertise, and supported by our team in Rocky Hill. There is no other legitimate source for new NAVTEC product — what you get here is the real thing.
