The jaw end provides articulation at the chainplate or toggle connection, and hardware factor dimensions are published for all 11 standard sizes to simplify total assembly length calculations. Pin diameters run from 7/16" through 1-1/4" and jaw depths from 7/8" through 2-3/8" across the standard range, covering rod sizes from -06 through -60.
