When a Failsafe Backstay Insulator is ordered un-glued for field assembly, the correct pulling tool is required to seat the swage end properly using a WireTeknik or equivalent roll swager. Four tool sizes cover the full range of applicable wire diameters, from 3/16" through 1/2" imperial and 5mm through 12mm metric, with each tool sized to match specific wire diameter groupings to ensure a correctly swaged connection. Ordering the right pulling tool at the same time as the insulator eliminates the most common source of installation delays.
