NAVTEC BY HAYN

The NAVTEC D541 and D540 Rod Eye End are Type 316 stainless steel fixed eye end fittings for NAVTEC rod turnbuckle assemblies, available in left hand thread (D541) and right hand thread (D540) configurations across nine rod sizes from -04 through -60.

NAVTEC by Hayn - Strong Where It Matters

NAVTEC D541 & D540 Rod Body Eye End

The rod eye end threads onto the D500 rod body to provide a fixed bolt-style connection at the chainplate end of the turnbuckle, making it the correct choice where the installation geometry calls for a bolt connection rather than a clevis pin. As with the D531/D530 toggle jaw series, selecting the correct thread hand is essential — left hand for the D541, right hand for the D540 — to ensure proper engagement with the D500 body. Both series cover nine rod sizes from -04 through -60, with hole diameters from 5/16" through 1-1/4" and lengths from 3.18" through 8.87", with both Hayn and legacy NAVTEC part numbers listed for straightforward cross-referencing.

Engineered In America Every Hayn fitting is designed and manufactured at our facility in Rocky Hill, Connecticut — the same American workmanship that has set the standard for stainless steel rigging hardware since 1950.
Cold-Worked Production Hayn fittings are cold-worked, not cast. That distinction matters: the cold-working process refines grain structure, increases fatigue resistance, and produces a fundamentally stronger component — one built to perform when the load comes on it.
NAVTEC ENGINEERING STANDARDS NAVTEC components are engineered to perform under the exact conditions that demand the most from your rigging — offshore passages, high-load racing applications, and everything in between. Every fitting is precision-machined to tight tolerances, built from high-grade stainless steel, and designed to integrate seamlessly into rod rigging systems where failure is not an option.
YOUR EXCLUSIVE SOURCE FOR NAVTEC Hayn is the sole authorized manufacturer and supplier of NAVTEC rigging components. That means every part you order is made to the original specifications, backed by Hayn's manufacturing expertise, and supported by our team in Rocky Hill. There is no other legitimate source for new NAVTEC product — what you get here is the real thing.
