NAVTEC BY HAYN

The NAVTEC D340 Rod Tip Turnbuckle Screw is machined from Nitronic 50 stainless steel and serves as the ball head tip screw in NAVTEC C651 tip turnbuckle assemblies, available in standard and extended lengths to accommodate the full range of NAVTEC rod sizes and installation geometries.

NAVTEC by Hayn - Strong Where It Matters

NAVTEC D340 Rod Tip Turnbuckle Screw

Nitronic 50 is the correct material choice for this fitting — the same high-strength, corrosion-resistant alloy used in NAVTEC rod rigging itself, ensuring the tip screw and rod share compatible material properties at the most load-critical interface in the turnbuckle assembly. Standard lengths run from 4-1/4" through 11-3/4" and extended lengths from 7" through 16-15/16", with both versions available across thread sizes from 1/4-28 through 1.0-12 to cover NAVTEC rod sizes from -04 through -60. Selecting the correct length version is essential for achieving the required tension adjustment range within the specific installation geometry.

Engineered In America Every Hayn fitting is designed and manufactured at our facility in Rocky Hill, Connecticut — the same American workmanship that has set the standard for stainless steel rigging hardware since 1950.
Cold-Worked Production Hayn fittings are cold-worked, not cast. That distinction matters: the cold-working process refines grain structure, increases fatigue resistance, and produces a fundamentally stronger component — one built to perform when the load comes on it.
NAVTEC ENGINEERING STANDARDS NAVTEC components are engineered to perform under the exact conditions that demand the most from your rigging — offshore passages, high-load racing applications, and everything in between. Every fitting is precision-machined to tight tolerances, built from high-grade stainless steel, and designed to integrate seamlessly into rod rigging systems where failure is not an option.
YOUR EXCLUSIVE SOURCE FOR NAVTEC Hayn is the sole authorized manufacturer and supplier of NAVTEC rigging components. That means every part you order is made to the original specifications, backed by Hayn's manufacturing expertise, and supported by our team in Rocky Hill. There is no other legitimate source for new NAVTEC product — what you get here is the real thing.
