Hayn Hi-MOD Compression Forks
Hayn Hi-MOD Compression Forks are swageless Type 316 stainless steel fork terminals produced by Petersen Stainless and distributed exclusively in the USA by Hayn, offering a field-installable wire termination with a clevis fork end that requires no heat or hydraulic swaging equipment.
Strong Where It Matters
Hi Mod Compression Forks
The Hi-MOD design uses a unique crown ring to space wire strands evenly around the fitting so each strand carries an equal share of the load, combined with a longer cone at a shallower angle that seats correctly without bending the strands — the most common source of installation error in traditional swageless terminals. Both the cone and crown ring are fully reusable, making inspection and reassembly straightforward without replacing any components. Available for 1x19, 7-strand, Compact Strand, and Dyform wire constructions across imperial sizes from 1/8" through 1" and metric sizes from 3mm through 26mm, with pin diameters from 1/4" through 1-3/8".

Engineered In America
Every Hayn fitting is designed and manufactured at our facility in Rocky Hill, Connecticut — the same American workmanship that has set the standard for stainless steel rigging hardware since 1950.
Cold-Worked Production
Hayn fittings are cold-worked, not cast. That distinction matters: the cold-working process refines grain structure, increases fatigue resistance, and produces a fundamentally stronger component — one built to perform when the load comes on it.
Precision Manufacturing
Our Rocky Hill production floor runs CNC vertical mills, CNC lathes, large-capacity mill-turn centers, and waterjet cutting systems — all configured to produce hardware that meets exact specifications, every time.
75+ Years of Excellence
Hayn has been engineering and manufacturing marine and architectural rigging hardware since 1950. That track record isn't just history, it's the design knowledge, failure data, and continuous improvement that goes into every product we make.
