Hayn Bow Shackles
Hayn Bow Shackles are Type 316 stainless steel shackles with a rounded bow body that distributes load across a wider bearing surface than a D shackle, available in three pin configurations across nine sizes with minimum breaking loads from 1,320 lbs through 22,000 lbs.
Hayn Bow Shackles
The wider bow geometry makes these the right choice where the fitting being connected — a block strap, eye, or loop — needs more lateral bearing surface than a D shackle jaw provides, or where multi-directional loading is a factor. Standard screw pin covers everyday applications; socket head pin offers a cleaner profile where tool access is limited; and shake proof retained pin adds positive locking for high-vibration or offshore conditions where an unsecured pin is not an option. Available in pin sizes from 5/32" through 3/4" across the three configurations, with the full bow and socket pin ranges running from 5/32" through 5/8" body diameter and shake proof available from 3/16" through 5/8".
