Machinist

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Machinist with 3-5 years of experience or equivalent education to join our Operations Team. This position requires the use of a wide variety of metal working equipment to take information from ideas and drawings and transform them into finished components. Full Time position onsite, hours 7:00am – 3:30pm.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate mills, lathes, grinders, including CNC controlled, and other machining equipment.
  • Sort, receive, and process incoming/outgoing material(s)
  • Inspection of parts and completion of inspection reports
  • Complete assignments within proper quality specifications and in a safe manner
  • Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specification, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations and setup requirements.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of Machinist experience or Associate Degree / Certification in Machine Technology.
  • Mechanical aptitude with a desire to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Accurately read measurements and verify production components meet engineering specifications.
  • Self-starter who can work both independently and with a team.
Sales and Customer Service Associate

Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Sales and Customer Service Associate to join our team in our Rocky Hill, CT offices. This position is responsible for maintaining a customer centric approach by providing a quality experience for the customer.   The Sales and Customer Service Associate develops customer accounts by facilitating and communicating pricing and product information and implementing strategies to increase revenue results.  Position is onsite, office hours 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers by phone and email.
  • Enter sales order and answer product questions
  • Proactively manage the complete sales cycle and post-sale activities.
  • Following up with customers and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Keeping customers informed about new products.
  • Updating records of customer communication and contact information.
  • Meet sales goals and objectives set by leadership.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably with a manufacturing company.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Drive to learn the technical aspects of the Hayn product lines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to identify and follow up on leads.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task, and strong time management skills.
